Welcome
This site is a way for you to get to know me a little - my interests, my background, and my beloved cats. People often joke that my cats are so pampered that, if reincarnation exists, they would want to come back as one of my cats. I have a multitude of interests and have been fortunate enough to have experienced many diverse things. My education ranges from academic to traveling and living abroad. I guess travel has been amongst the most enriching ventures that I have undertaken. Exposure to foreign sites and cultures allows one to broaden their perspective and appreciate different points of view.
So how best would I describe myself? Well, I would say that I am vibrant, insightful, conscientious, introspective, generous and fun loving. I guess the key to getting the most out of life is by living in the moment as best you can. Even though there are lessons to be learned in the rough times, I consider myself an optimist, and like to look to positive outcomes and positive memories from whatever I may be involved with or engaged in.
I am single and have never been married, although I did have one long term relationship with a woman for 10 years. To quote Sinatra, “regrets, I had a few, but too few to mention." Accentuate the positive, or learn your lesson and move on. You may think that I am living in some form of denial but I wrote one my Masters theses on “If it bleeds, it leads news,” and I know that pessimism is pervasive in our society and I refuse to buy into that mindset. I enjoy a good intellectual discussion, but far too often people confuse negativity for being intellectual. It takes a lot of work to remain positive in a culture full of doom-sayers, but call me naïve, I want to walk on the sunny side of the street. I hope you get something positive from this visit, so please enjoy the site
